Raw Venison is a food item that can be consumed or cooked into Venison Steak. Raw Venison can be found most commonly when hunting Deer, typically dropping 1 to 3 Raw Venison, making it quite the easy source of food early on. If a Deer is slain while on fire, they will instead drop Venison Steak. It is one of the most basic foods to find within the Twilight Forest. When eaten, Raw Venison will only provide the player with a pitiful 3 (
) points of Hunger and 1.8 points of Saturation, but still just enough to be worth eating when in a tight spot.
If all other food sources have been eaten, the player will be rewarded with the Advancement: We Dine At Eternal Sundown
